Along with the numerous food safety programs we have undertaken, we have also developed the most up to date and thorough traceability recall program. This program involves a "license plate" style bar coding system.

Each packed box has a unique barcode number. This barcode number allows us to access all pertinent information about that box, including:

grower, lot number, variety, grade, pack, size, box weight, date and time of pack, even the employee that packed the box. Each box that is loaded on a truck, for an order, is scanned into the system under that order number. Making it possible to know exactly which boxes are loaded on all the orders that leave our facility. This system enables us to quickly and accurately; trace a single box through our entire system, from pack to loading.

Such a fast, accurate and thorough system ensures that, if a recall becomes necessary, product can be identified, traced and isolated within a few short minutes.
